
Nikon Lenswear hosted the Nikon Lenswear Moment Maker Event in Tokyo as a multi-day celebration for customers and guests from around the world.
After a few discovery conversations, Nikon Lenswear chose to partner with MergeLabs.

What They Wanted
Tailored itineraries for each group
The master schedule is very complex. We needed a solution to give each guest only what they needed.
Fully localized to their preferred language.
They took full advantage of the localization features of MergeLabs and provided 9 different languages to their guests.
Timely, localized push notifications.
They scheduled alerts and push notifications ahead of time to be sent for each group with custom messages in their preferred languages.
No account/login needed by guests.
They did not want to bother guests with a signup process. So a simple QR code automatically loaded the App with the correct itinerary and information.
Tailored additional information
Each group should have their own info package such as flight & hotel info, emergency contacts etc.
Conversation channel for all the staff
International teams don’t all share the same standard messaging apps. Nikon Lenswear wanted a way to bring all the different teams onto one system.

We built the mobile Apps to integrate the necessary localized push notification feature, QR-code scanning and more.
We even went two steps further:
Event Branding: We themed our app for their event so their guests could download the Nikon Lenswear Moment Maker App, select their preferred language, and receive push notifications in their preferred language.
Full Setup and Transfer: We took over the entire setup process and itinerary transfer process for them.
